I will pray

I will pray
That if great moments are not forever
If relationship expiring
If love can die
I hope you can be around as long as life allow us to
And make our stories go deeper
So it won’t slip away & vanished
That easily

I will pray
For love to be trapped inside us
Fit us in the way we never thought of
You understand really well how it feels

I will pray
All kind of feelings stay
The good, the bad, the mix

I will pray
Because I believe:
We deserve this

I can write no stately proem
As a prelude to my lay;
From a poet to a poem
I would dare to say.

For if of these fallen petals
One to you seem fair,
Love will waft it till it settles
On your hair.

And when wind and winter harden
All the loveless land,
It will whisper of the garden,
You will understand.

Movies about love
Hurt me
Because I can only see
The projection of us
That we can’t be
The time
That we can’t have
The memory
That almost feel like illusions
The place
We never experience

Pity, selfish me

Milkshakes Poem from Before Sunrise

Daydream delusion
Limousine Eyelash
Oh, baby with your pretty face
Drop a tear in my wineglass
Look at those big eyes
See what you mean to me
Sweet cakes and milkshakes
I am a delusion angel
I am a fantasy parade
I want you to know what I think
Don’t want you to guess anymore
You have no idea where I came from
We have no idea where we’re going
Launched in life
Like branches in the river
Flowing downstream
Caught in the current
I’ll carry you. You’ll carry me
That’s how it could be
Don’t you know me?
Don’t you know me by now?

Mesmerized

I love how you change your accent quickly
You make me laugh, all the time
Also when you say you cut your hair
So you’ll look more like a businessman
And Italiano
Because I like that kind of look
I can’t hide my smile;
If you see my eyes deeply, you will know

I am mesmerized

Good Morning

Can we
Stop the conversation
And let me
Just look into your eyes
Admire your perfect imperfection
Spell love
In my own
Wordless way

I know

I know the feeling
It feels like you’re dying
You’re in a crossroad
And you need to decide
Whether you’re ready to cope with life
Or you just simply build your new way

I know the feeling
When you want people
To decide things for you
But just can’t, ‘cause this is your life
You’re the only one knowing
Your limit and strength
Or maybe there’s no limit in patient
Just leave you the option:
You want this or not

I know the feeling
And I know it’s not easy
I promise you
On one shining day
You’ll walk the right way
(It’s always been the right way)
And you will be strong enough
To walk thru it
Without having to look back in misery

I know the feeling
Please stop crying

Paris Rendezvous

We can meet in Paris
Playfully schedule our meeting in a cafe
Where I’d sit in different table
While you’re busy with your newspaper

Paris is such a romantic city
Easily, your eyes will catch a glimpse
Of my red lipstick
And you’ll put your newspaper aside
Calling the waiter to send me a drink

I will look you in the eye
When the waiter bring me orange juice
I take the glass and smile
Gestured a silent cheers
As approval

You’ll walk to my table
And I’d feel my heart beats faster
You look so damn perfect
The sun helps you spark

You’ll say, “Bonjour, madame.”
And I’d say, “C’est mademoiselle.”

Bookstore

I missed bookstore

The feeling when you touch interesting new book title
The comfy couch you can use to browse some pages
The provocative books you read in the darker side of the room
Like, “101 bedroom techniques to get your husband back”
Steal some sentences of that horoscope books because you don’t want to buy it
The recommended book list you trust 150%
Best selling list, your friend is on them and you wonder when will your turn
Then you start browsing to research for writing your next book
Because suddenly you feel motivated that you can be as successful
And you ended up buying too much books
Assuring self that this is life investment

I know you can relate

The Noticer

Have you ever stop and notice
The sound of the wind
The air you breath
Your own thought
How your ring fit perfectly
The smell of life perfume
The feel of earth on your feet

Have you ever stop and see in the eye
The cleaning guy
Fruit sellers
Reception ladies
Weird waiter
Your parents

Have you ever try (to notice)

You Make Me Speechless

Speechless is when you tell me not to live in the past
When you say you’re crazy about me
When we argue over who’s getting their hands dirty in the kitchen
When you give me that look
When I thought it’s kinda sexy
When you tell me you love me

Speechless is moments with you
…And without you

Perspective

If we put our heart together, like this
Slow but sure, we move towards the brighter light
We’ll forgot our unmet hope & frustration
Not to belittle the problem
Just to see bigger perspective
Of the purpose: on why we met

Keep our heart on the same rhythm, like this
Move and sway with the wordless song
‘Til at one glorious note
Sky will be clear
And we’d know (for sure) that the answer is near

The Way I Think

What if everything’s too easy for us
You know, like when I think of you, you just suddenly there
Or you can read my mind and get me that diamond ring
I silently wish for when we pass the store?

Will life going to be boring
Because I lose reason to write poetry
No more misery nor agony

Will life going to give new challenges
For we might going to be sick with each other
Because they say too much love will kill you (but I never get killed)

All this contemplative thoughts
Come to conclusion
That wherever I stand
It’s just perfect place for me

You agree?

Charm

How can you overlook your charm?
I can’t stop point out
How nice your nose and lips together
That eyes when you try to tell some jokes
And how your smile would silently freeze the time

If you asked me…
It’s your beauty that moves me
But your patience and strength keep me

At this point I know you’ll ignorantly say, “Really?”
