I sit down beside a stranded bag in the waiting room. The owner of the bag came when I still typing in my iPad.

“Miss, have my flight board yet?”

I turn to see his face. His face glowing bright and a sincere smile is also there.

“I don’t know. Where are you going?”

He showed me his boarding pass. I told him, he should ask the airlines staff.

When he came back, he said the flight’s not yet to board. I nodded and continue typing. Doing my own individual thing.

“Where are you going, miss?”

I said I’m going to Medan, to talk. He’s going to Surabaya for holiday. He’s a Gontor student, a famous Islamic boarding school in Indonesia.

He wanted to blurt more questions but his flight is ready. He said goodbye to me before I could ask him anything. I believe if we could talk longer, I can learn a lot from him.

He left his bag, show a tremendous trust and ikhlas, he’s smiling the whole time and show his positivity towards people.

I hope I can meet with him again someday
