Yesterday I met my soul sister Tari to talk about our spiritual book club that we will start in September. Of course, as usual, when we met, I won’t waste the chance to evaluate my life and see it from her perspective. She’s the one introducing me to spirituality and patiently watch me evolve to where I am today.
She told me about ‘Touch’ tv series and I start watching it this morning. In 3 minutes, the series hit home.
There’s an ancient Chinese myth about the Red Thread of Fate. It says the gods have tied every one of our ankles and attached it to all the people whose lives we’re destined to touch. This thread may stretch or tangle, but it’ll never break. It’s all predetermined by mathematical probability
I lost my phone 3 months ago. It was such a rare unfortunate event that shouldn’t happen because my phone was charged with a person watching when it was stolen. When I realized I lost it, I immediately contact my mom, who send my driver to give me my old iPhone. I use the iPhone again for few hours and I found a notification. A message, in one of the apps. It’s the app that only Peter and I use to communicate with each other.
Last December, we broke up for some misunderstanding and we didn’t talk for months. When I saw the message from him, in my old phone, I immediately feel a rush of happiness. The message put a smile on my face. On that moment, I knew, I had to contact him back again. And we’ve been together again ever since.
Coincidence? I don’t think so. We believe we got a second chance to make this right. Hopefully, now we’re mature and wise enough to do that.
